We are a trans disciplinary, highly collaborative team that includes experts in applied public health research, public policy, epidemiology, maternal health social and behavioral science with a specific foci on sexual reproductive adolescent and child health.

Our Mission

The Methods

We use both qualitative and quantitative methods to better understand determinants of health and how they can be framed to make interventions better and inform policy formulation design implementation and sustainability.

Research

We explore research, policies and programs with a goal of optimizing sexual reproductive adolescent and child health care delivery for women girls and children across the health system.

Design. Test. Implement.

We design, test and implement SRACH innovations across healthcare systems and address SRACH issues across the life course from a health systems perspective.

Recent Activities

Dr. Maricianah Onono

Dr. Maricianah Atieno Onono is a medical doctor at Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI), and is also the KEMRI-RCTP Nyanza Research Coordinator. She earned her medical degree from the University of Nairobi and her MSC in clinical research from the University of Liverpool. She has overseen large multi-site studies focusing on family planning, HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence. She has played a key role in translating many research findings into routine clinical practice. She chaired the scientific committee for the first Integration for Impact conference in 2012 in Kenya, which focused on reproductive health and HIV services in Sub-Saharan Africa.
