The objective of the study was to integrate high-quality family planning (FP) services with maternal and newborn services, improve the overall quality of FP services, increase access to FP services for the urban poor through public-private partnerships and other private-sector approaches, create sustained demand for FP services among the urban poor, and create a supportive policy environment for ensuring access to FP supplies and services for the urban poor.
