Objective:

The main aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of contraception on HPV acquisition and persistence among women who previously participated in the Evidence for Contraceptive Options and HIV Outcomes (ECHO) Trial.

Evaluation of HPV burden among young women in Africa: a follow-on study to the ECHO Trial

Major Goals: The major goals of this project are to address whether specific contraceptives influence HPV prevalence in women initiating use of the standard Cu-IUD, the LNG implant, or injectable DMPA.
