Objective

The study aims to integrate collaborative care for perinatal common mental diseases (CMD) within routine ANC/HIV services in Kenya, assessing the costs and cost-effectiveness of this approach, and working with policy and decision makers to determine key considerations for scale-up.

The overall objective of this study is to integrate a collaborative care model (CCM) for perinatal CMD within routine antenatal HIV services in Kenya by systematically introducing CCM to ANC/HIV clinics already serving PPWH with probable depression or anxiety. We will recruit approximately 900 pregnant and post-partum women living with HIV and diagnosed with common mental disorders in 15 facilities in Kisumu county
